Why the viewer count matters on Twitch

When people browse a category on Twitch, the number they see first is how many people are watching each stream right now. A stream with three viewers can feel quiet, while one with a larger audience suggests something is happening. That first impression affects whether someone clicks in, and whether they stay once they arrive.

Twitch is crowded, and new streamers often find that their channel sits near the bottom of a category no matter how good the stream is. That is the problem this service is aimed at.

What this service does

This service adds viewers to your stream while you are live. It can make your stream look more active to people browsing your category. It does not guarantee that more real viewers will join, that you will be recommended, or that you will reach any Twitch milestone. We also cannot say exactly how Twitch counts these viewers in its own metrics, such as your average viewers.

How long viewers stay, and whether there is any chat activity, depends on the package. Check the package description before ordering.

How ordering works

1. Pick a package above and enter your public Twitch channel name or link.
2. Pay by card through our secure checkout. Prices are in US dollars, and your card issuer converts the amount to Canadian dollars.
3. You get an order number after payment and can follow progress on the order tracking page.
4. Be live when the order runs. Viewers can only join an active broadcast.

We never ask for your password, stream key or any access to your account.

Who tends to use it

• New streamers entering competitive categories.
• Creators running a special event, launch or charity stream.
• Streamers testing how a busier-looking stream affects the people who click in.

What actually keeps viewers around

Viewers who stay and come back are what build a channel. These habits matter far more than any number:

• A consistent schedule. Pick times you can keep, and post them on your channel. Canada spans several time zones, so think about where your audience lives.
• Talking to chat. Greet people, answer questions and make new viewers feel noticed.
• A clear concept. People should know what your stream is about within a few seconds.
• Decent audio and video. Clear sound matters more than a fancy camera.
• Clips and short videos. Sharing highlights on other platforms brings new people to your channel.

Pairing with followers

A stream with an active-looking audience but a very small follower count can look unbalanced. Some streamers also add Twitch followers. You can see everything we offer on our Twitch services page.

Good to know

• Your stream must be live for the service to work.
• Twitch's rules discourage artificial viewers and engagement. Use this as a first-impression tool, not as a replacement for building a community.
